The International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE) serves more than 24,000 professionals in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry who develop, manufacture and deliver quality medicines to patients. ISPE supports their efforts through the advancement of educational and technical efficiency.

The Challenge

A few months before its annual conference and with deadlines looming,A few months before its annual conference and with deadlines looming, ISPE needed a skilled creative partner who could provide graphic design and production support to produce 200+ projects, ranging from brochures and handouts to indoor and outdoor event signage and custom booths and structures.Additionally, ISPE needed internal project workflow management and vendor coordination to ensure that their corporate visual identity was upheld, ensuring consistency across their visual materials.

Solutions

In a span of 90 days, TGD and ISPE collaboratedIn a span of 90 days, TGD and ISPE collaborated to develop more than 200 engaging creative projects, hitting every deadline and maintaining quality assurance processes in place. Visually, every project reinforced the ISPE Annual Meeting & Expo's brand identity, providing the emotional connection to the organization and the annual conference, which draws attendees across miles.TGD provided a central point of contact, serving as an extension of ISPE's staff, who managed the high-volume production work and served as a liaison between ISPE staff and the creative team. Support services included management of updates and revisions, participation in interdepartmental meetings, providing daily communication with internal stakeholders, as well as status updates on ISPE's preferred project and work management platform, monday.com.Additionally, TGD prepared appropriately formatted output-ready files for the conference decorator, commercial printing vendor, and chotchke vendors, meeting their unique technical requirements, file formats, color profiles, and instructions. Files were carefully named to avoid any confusion and delivered to the vendors' portal. Once the vendor provided proofs, TGD collaborated with ISPE on proof reviews, necessary revisions, and file reuploads.

Results

Boasting a branded theme and a dynamic and immersive three-day experience, the ISPE Annual Meeting & Expo drew more than 2600 attendees from across 30 countries to the Mandalay Bay Resort, Las Vegas, to engage in learning, networking, leadership opportunities, the Facility of the Year Award Reception and banquet, a 5K run, the Foundation golf tournament, and more.
