Tom has worked at TGD since 2003. He is responsible for business development and marketing initiatives for TGD as well as for its clients. He serves as the Advertising Manager for The Journal of Government Financial Management, the Association of Government Accountants’ quarterly publication. Tom increased the Journal’s advertising revenue by 140% in his first year at TGD.
In 2007 he was given a challenge to increase their annual ad sales from a $90,000 base per issue to $120,000 base, which he exceeded. Tom provides sales to other clients for conferences, specialty Web sites, or publications. He also assists with surveys and information updates for databases.
Tom is a member of the American Marketing Association and was named Member of the Year for 2008-09 at their annual M Awards.
Tom received his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA.
